Greetings from Nica Heartbeat! Can you believe it's been one year that we have been open? Did you know we have helped over 1,000 people?!!! Many of our patients are locals that would not have received health care or have to take a day off to travel to other facilities. We are blessed by your gracious donations so that we can operate close to locals, tourists and residents. While we continue to strive to become a clinic, we are still a first aid center that is there to help in anyway we can. We count on our fundraisers to not only help with maintenance, but to continue our dream of building a clinic on the land donated by Fransisco Ramirez, between Charlie 1 and 2. With that said, we would like to tell you about our ONE YEAR Anniversary FUN RUN Fundraiser and how you can be there or help. We have over 20 fabulous businesses that have donated to our Fun Run One Year Anniversary FUNdraiser Raffle. As you know we rely on your donations to continue maintaining operations with the Nica Heartbeat First Aid Center. There are three ways you can help: 1. Join us in Sept 8th for the 3k or 5k.....or the Kid FUN RUN You can walk , jog, crawl around Hacienda Iguana to support our cause. With your $20 donation you can get a tee shirt, raffle ticket, and some exercise! We will begin the race at the Nica Heartbeat First Aid Center and end with refreshments at Iguana Brewery. Kid Run-9:00 3k/5k-9:30 (Please be aware that these times may change due to the forecasted weather. Updates will be on Social Media, our website blog and WhatsApp) 2. Buy raffle tickets. You don’t have to be present to win. They are $5 each or 5 for $20. You can PayPal(info@nicaheartbeat.com), Facebook donation or Venmo us(760-271-5977). Just add a note saying what it’s for (raffle, sponsor a local, or run) Tickets are also available at Casa Colorados, Satori Spa, and the NHB First Aid Center. 100% of your purchase goes to helping NHB. 3. Sponsor a local or one of your workers. $20 to help a local Nicaragua child or local have fun and join the race. 4. Volunteer the day of the race. Help hand out water cups, sell raffle tickets, time keeper, or hang up signs. REMEMBER: All donations are tax deductible with our 501c3 non profit.
